Turkish African CSOs Meets in Istanbul Print
The “Turkish-African Civil Society Organizations Forum” that is going to be realized in Istanbul between the dates of August 14-16, 2008 aims to contribute in development of tolerance, cooperation and communication between the Turkish- African civilizations and to maintain global peace and consistency.


The project of “Turkish-African Civil Society Organizations Forum” intended for tracking closely the developments occurring in Turkey and Africa, to analyse the information we acquired, to develop a consistent and applicable for a joint future, to remove the deficiencies to occur at the easiest possible way and to evaluate in the best possible way the chances to provide mutual benefits, has been planned by the African Institute of Turkish-Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM) in order to form a consistent cooperation platform.


Turkish-African CSOs Forum aims to develop a cooperation a broad platform where the representatives of the leading CSOs in Turkey and in the African continent come together and discuss the problems regarding increase of civil activities between the African and Turkish people compliant with the summit goals and search for ways of solutions and to issue a joint declaration, prior to the “Turkish-African Summit” foreseen to be held with the attendance of Head of States/ Governments and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the African Nations under the organization of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey between the dates August 18-21, 2008.
